Career Vacancies

Edgarley Assisted Living is passionate about care. This passion extends to all aspects of the care we provide for each and every one of our residents.

If you are looking for a positive change, or a new challenge, by working in the aged care industry, we would like to hear from you.

There are many avenues of employment available at Edgarley Assisted Living, but first and foremost, the capacity to be a a caring, compassionate and supportive person willing to go the extra mile for our residents is a required skill.

A career in aged care is not just about doing things for others, its also about encouraging our residents to do things for themselves in our person-centred, active living focus.

At Edgarley, we believe in Active Living, which means the people who use our services need to continue to do, or learn to do as much as they can for themselves.  It is essential to emotional and physical well being that people have things to occupy themselves, which make them feel useful, valued and engaged with life.  Helping older people to continue to do what they can for themselves and supporting adults with learning disabilities to learn new life skills is an essential part of our work. Care work is not simply about undertaking tasks for people, its also about encouragement, motivation and helping to ensure that anyone for whom we provide a service has as fulfilling a life as possible
