Edgarley Assisted Living is an ageing in place facility.
This means a resident who moves into Edgarley Assisted Living can stay for the rest of their lives and have the treatment they require regardless of their entry classification.
If a resident moves into EHI as a respite resident and decides to stay and is re-assessed as low care, they can stay in the room they currently reside in and have their service needs upgraded. This approach flows into high care and palliative care.
Ageing in Place can be best described as; the ability to live in one’s own home in a safe, independent, and comfortably manner, regardless of age or ability level. Edgarley Assisted Living promotes ageing in place and supports the resident to achieve this goal.
